When Will my Order be Ready?

Once you place your order with us we aim to dispatch it as soon as possible. If the item description says it is ‘In Stock and Ready to Go’ then that will be the same day or next working day if its later in the afternoon.

However many items on ScotClans are either made to order or have to come in from our supplier. With such a wide range of tartans and crests we can never keep stock of everything as we just do not have space, for that matter neither do most of our suppliers. Over the years though we have built up a great relationship with them and they work extremely hard to turn around orders to as as quickly as they can.

Where possible we will say on the item description roughly how long it takes to prepare the item you are ordering. For our in house products this is a few days, for tartan items such as ties and scarves and clan crest regalia this is normally around a week to ten days. Kilts and tailored items can take much longer.

Once your order is ready it will be dispatched via your chosen shipping method. For UK First class mail is one to two days and we use other 24 hour courier services too, for overseas mail its wise to check delivery times to your country. Standard airmail can take around a week to Europe, about 14 days to the USA and Canada and longer for other countries. Our fastest service is FedEx which can get to the USA next day if there are no customs delays and 1-3 days for the rest of the world.
