Am a descendent of the Dunvegan MacLeods, visited Isle of Skye a few years ago and loved seeing all the history I had read so much about. I live in Athens, GA, but have a mountain home in Blowing Rock, NC. Have attended the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games many times over the years. So glad you enjoyed your visit to the NC High Country. The scenery reminds me, in many ways, or the scenery around The Scottish Highlands. It’s such a beautiful area. Come back when you can!!!
